I would be interested in hearing form anyone who may have ties to any of these surnames. I am researching the Evans Family.

AUGUST, 29,1924

A reunion of the Evans Family was held on Sunday, August 24th, at the home of Daniel Evans, near Oakland Station. There were 86 people present. Fifty were direct descendants of the late Iassac and Elizabeth Evans, who raised their family of ten children on that farm. One son Maurice, a young man seventeen years old, was injured at Alloway Junction coming home from an excursion to Atlantic City in 1881, from which he died the next day. Daniel Evans, the present owner, has lived on the farm for 66 years. All of the immediate family were present except one grandson who lives in the west, and one granddaughter who lives in New York State.
A Sumptuous dinner was prepared by the ladies which was enjoyed by all.
The home-coming was planned in honor of Mrs. Robert Stone (nee Mattie Evans) of Fairport, New York, who with her husband and daughter, Miss Marie, are visiting relatives in this community.
A land terrapin marked "W.M., 1849" which has been around the farm for a number of years, was a great curiosity to the guests.
