am looking to see if anyone has a picture of the hotel turned house on 123 ocean ave., in island heights,nj. i was told that it was a hotel in the 1800's. i grew up in that house until i was about 10 or 11 yrs old. i remember the high carriage step on the left side of the house. it had 3 stories and the ivy's lived across the street from us,the dean's and the schmidt's lived on the street behind us. there was a house to the right and left of us. our big oak tree fell on the house to the right of where we lived and it was a house on the corner. back to the house it had french doors to either side of the big double front door. a screened porch to the right of the front door.it had a coal burning furance. i just thought that may in your history of the town you might have a picture of it before it became a house. it was owned by catherine scott allen. i am her daughter. respectfully, anne catharine jo scott frampus
