Sayre Ancestors in Morris County, New Jersey

Attention: Mr. Sayre

In my genealogical research over the years, I have found SAYRE ancestors in Morris County, NJ. Most SAYRE descendants living today appear to descend from Thomas or Job Sayre who came from England to Lynn, Massachusetts, in the early 1630ís. We believe that both made their final settlements at Southampton, Long Island, New York. Most documented genealogies up to the present have been paper-trail. Recently Y-DNA Genealogy has become available. So far we donít have a representative for enough Sayre branches for a good long-range analysis.

I am hoping to hear from any direct-line male SAYRE who might be interested in participating in a DNA Sayre Genealogy survey. For more information on this project, please email me at Thank you.
