Maps: Thomas: Harvey:

I have a cemetery deed to:
Catherine Sickels and Edward Bennett dated 20 Sept. 1886
From: M. Howard Maps and wife Ann Maps
Deborah Z. or N. Thomas and husband Augustus
Clara Harvey and husband Charles E.
and Julia Maps (made her mark)

This is for a plot of land situated at West Long Branch in the
township of Eatontown,County of Monmouth.
Lot # 319 as marked on a map known and designated as
map of section No.2 of Long Branch Cemetery. etc
I assume this is also known as the Old 1st United Meth. Cem.?

I believe Catherine Sickels is the mother of
Lavinia Sickles who married Edward R. Bennett @1880,
so the plot was bought by my ggfather and his mom-in-law.

Catherine Sickels did not sign the deed, so the spelling
of the Sickels/Sickles name is not in her hand.
Lavinia Sickles & Edward R Bennett are my ggparents
Their son, Fred R. Bennett m: Mary Elizabeth Smith

In my grandparents wedding booklet (1908) are guests:
Mrs. Elisha Maps, Woodward Sutphen, M/M John Bowne,
Harry Truax, and many others.

Does anyone know about a Maps/Bennett/Sickles/West/White
connection?- or about the Maps family in Monmouth Cty?
