I have a history of Colts Neck area; Phoebe A b. 1846; m.
Stephen Cottrell (sorry no dates) Her father was Charles S Matthews (1813-1872) son of John Matthews (1763-1855) and he was the son of Charles B @ 1735 m. Deborah Bills 1760.
Phoebe's father Charles S Matthews m. 1833 Sarah Ann Robbins (1813-1882) Children: Lydia H. b 1834; Harriet b 1838 m Mahlon Cottrell; George b 1842; James b 1843; Charles b 1844; Phoebe b 1846 m Stephen Cottrell; Garrett b 1850. The only other marriage in this group Lydia m Enoch Buckalew. Someone also stated in a followup there were two more children, Sarah and Ambrose. (Original didn't have I guess) Bye, hope this helps a bit.
