I am also looking for a connection to Meirs
from Monmouth County, NJ. My grandmother was
Martha Chapman, she m Benjamin Parker. They
moved to Philadelphia in 1849 and at that time she had a Edwin Ivins Curtis and John Meirs Curtis with her. Checking the background of John and Edwin Curtis, I find that their mother was Sarah Meirs Chapman Curtis. Their father was James Lawrence Curtis. Do you or anyone reading this message see any connection?

Martha Chapman & Benjamin Parker had the following children, all born Monmouth County
before it became Ocean Co, John, Henry, Sidney, Charles, James, Elizabeth. There may have been others I do not know. But the
Curtis name is repeated in every generation.

Anyone with any info please respond.

Dawn Geiger Randolph
