Dear Susan,

Thank you so much for replying to my query. I am not a member of the NYGB Society and would really appreciate your help in finding Martha (Matje)Vanderhoff, and her daughter, Edith (Aeltje) Vanderveer.
I live in North Carolina but my family lived in Monmouth County for 300 years. Henry Hoff, the President of NYGBR Society
solved my Hendricks(on) family origin in 1975 tracking the familiy back to Hendrick Willemsz and Gisseltje Bradt of Albany, NY.
I will try to find Samuel Smith's book. He was the official historian for Monmouth County and gave the key speech at their 300th anniversary celebration around 1975.

With regards,
