Hi Andrew,

The New York Genealogical and Biographical Society has a manuscript titled "New Netherland Families" compiled by Wilson Van Doren Ledley when he was executive secretary at the Holland Society. I do know the manuscript includes the Van der Hoffs, and I believe the Vanderveers are also included, and maybe even the Conovers. The manuscript is on microfilm. Try placing a query with them at their web site. If it is too involved (i.e. you have to be a member or it takes too long), please let me know via email before next Sat. and I can look for you while I am there. I have some of the Van der Hoff pages, but none that shed light on your query.

Thank you for the tip on the Morris history. I am not familiar with it, so will have to check it out. Are there other Monmouth Co. surnames, besides Van der Hoff, Vanderveer, Conover, and Morris, that you are researching? Just curious.
