I think we would be cousins, maybe. David's first wife was my ancestor's sister.
My ancestory, the brother, would be your John's uncle. (Theo, John, Benjamin, Toby, Henry, Joseph, Francis and me.

David and my ancestor both had sons named John who would be cousins, but since we have one generationdifference you would be my 7th cousin once moved (7C1R) on the knott side, I think.
