Fabulous information!! You are a gem!!! I have one more big "missing link" in our family history that relates to your reply. The 12 year old Anna M Smith living in Montoursville PA in 1880 was my great grandmother. She married a James C Moore. He was born circa 1865, passed away in 1927, and I believe they both lived in Montoursville or Williamsport PA (Lycoming County). Do you see anything more about him/them visa vis when they were married, where they lived? More importantly, can you tell me about James C Moore's parents/grandparents on the Moore side? I know our family is related to a famous bridgebuilder, James Moore II (born August 28, 1970 in Amboy NJ, married to Anne (I don't know her maiden name), died in May 1855, and buried in the Lewisburg PA cemetary). They had 6 daughters and 2 sons, Joseph b 1802 and James III - one of which we are related to. I know that Joseph Moore had several 5 children, but don't know about James. Is there any way you can work backward from James C Moore to James Moore II? Thank you so much for whatever you can tell me.
