Fort Sumter Veteran Dead.
Dr. William Henry Harlin, a retired physician and a veteran of the Civil war, died Monday at the home of his sister, Mrs. Teresa Woodward of Oceanport. Dr. Harlin fought in the battle of Fort Sumter with the Union forces and he was in a number of other conflicts. He was 72 years old. The funeral was held this morning at the Long Branch Catholic church and the burial was at Flatbush, Long Island.
