Thank-You so much for answering my post.It seems there were a lot of cranberry bogs in Monmouth Co.The area of which I was referring was known as "Georgia".I wish there was someplace I could find out more.The bogs on our land still had cranberries growing,though the dams were long gone, you could still see the remnants . This was on the north branch of the metedaconk (SP?) river.As kids ,we ate those berries as we explored.What wonderful memories!
