Lamb, Crane, & Trafford in Monmouth Co., NJ
Posted by: Jay Lamb (ID *****5358) Date: November 13, 2004 at 14:38:48
  of 1362

The 1870 census of Shewsburg, Twp. Monmouth Co., NJ includes:
Abraham Trafford 66 NJ
Basilea Trafford 56 NY
Frank Trafford 11 NJ
Sarah Lamb 78 NY

Abraham and Basilea (Harmer) Trafford are bur in Rumson Burying Ground, Rumson, Monmouth Co., NJ. I SEEK ANY FURTHER INFORMATION CONCERNING SARAH LAMB BORN ca 1791-2 NY.

Two households before the above were:
Adeline B. Crane 39 NY
Charles G. H. Crane 16 NY
William M. Crane 13.

In the 1860 census, Sarah Lamb, age 68 NY, was living with these Cranes in Brooklyn, Kings Co., NY.

When and where did Sarah Lamb die and where is she buried?
I would like to prove the relationship of Sarah Lamb to the Cranes and possibly to the Traffords.

Was Sarah married first possibly to a Clinch and second to a Lamb? Does anyone have information to prove either husband's name? Any additional information would be very welcomed.
