Applebee Monmouth Co, NJ

One of my ancestors which has led to a dead end is a lady named "Mary Applegate". Born about 1756, likely in Monmouth Co, NJ. She married Joseph C. Van Brunt. He was from Tinton Falls, Monmouth Co, NJ.
I've also been told that there was Leni Lenapi Indian in my ancestry (although no one could ever be specific). I just ran across Bartholomew Applebee while searching around and saw that he was from the right place (Monmouth Co, NJ) and married an Indian lady named Mary. Sounds like a good coincidence. Can anyone help out? An interesting side note is that my Joseph C. & Mary (Applebee) Van Brunt had a grandson named Reuben Van Brunt. I never came across that name before. I also noticed that Bartholomew & Mary (?) Applebee had a grandson named Reuben Applebee. More coincidences.
If you can help out at all that would be great.
My Mary (Applebee) Van Brunt had at least 3 children: Joseph VB (b. 1775 Monmouth), Ellen (VB) Van Kerk (b 1778) and Cornelius VB (b. 1780, Monmouth).

Thank you.
David
