Fred, I can't remember if the name Barber appears on the monument there, but I can check the next time I'm in the area (I played golf there today as a matter of fact). However the name Barber is known in this area of NJ and goes back a long way especially in Elizabeth (formerly known as Elizabethtown). Colonel Francis Barber of the Rev War died in Elizabethtown when a tree branch fell on him while he was on his horse. Also, I used to work with a Ken Barber back in the 80's who was the Colonel's ancestor and he had ton's of info on the Barber's. Unfortunately Ken passed on many years ago. Bob
