I am looking for my great great grandmother Frederika Kraeger Harms who came to the United States in November 1872 with five children, John, Albert, Johanna, Carl and Robert. I found her on a 1880 census with her son John in Momence, Fillmore, Nebraska. I also found a New Jersey, Death and Burials Index, 1789-1971 for a Fredericka Harms that may or may not be my great great grandmother. This Fredericka Harms died 13 Nov 1896 in Newark, Essex, New Jersey. Would anyone be able to find an obituary for this Fredericka Harms or some record of her family.
I have been able to document Albert my great grandfather and his sister Johanna and his two brothers Carl and Robert. I have not been able to document Frederika or John after 1880.
I would like to know if the Death information I found is my Frederika.
