I'm looking for info on my granfather Humphrey Hall Turton. He and his wife Martha Anna Simpson had two children: Margaret Ann and Robert Louis.
My Uncle Robert once said that he thought he had found information that HHT had died around 1967.
Martha Anna died in 1985 and she is buried in her family plot in Joplin, MO.
Robert died Saturday June 13, 2009, in a nursing home near Houston, TX. He was 88 years old.
My mother, Margaret Ann, is still living hear in Alabama.
Another site has a old posting from Aug 30, 2000, that says he had a second wife called "Kit," apparently for Catherine or Katherine. They had two girls named Claudia and Lois, and they attended some family functions in New Jersey years ago.
Any info/contact with the other family??
