Wells family that moved from NJ to Ohio

Looking for a needle in a haystack. A Wells family from Nj moved to Ohio sometime in late 1700's or early 1800's. They settled in Noble County, Enoch twnshp. Their son's name was Corneilius Wells. He appears in census of 1820, but under parents name and birthplace it says New Jersey.Would love some help if you know this family
