I am searching for Frances SCOTT Cooper, wife of Lewis Cooper who lived in Chemung Co., NY and raised a family of 10 children in the years from 1832 to 1851. Although I find Frances b in Vermont, Lewis was b in NJ. I believe they married in Vermont. Both Frances and Lewis are buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, McCumber #2 in Baldwin, Chemung Co.NY. The 1820, 1830, and 1840 mention Elisha Scott who could be her brother. Does anyone recognize this family. I will appreciate any info on either SCOTT or COOPER families. Thanks.
