The Monmouth Baptist Church was the first Baptist Church other than New England (Connecticut and Rhode Island). Monmouth started churches at Burlington, Hopewell and other areas and is the parent/grandparent church to Baptist Churches of at least 8 states. You may want to check if there is a Bailey connection through the Baptist churches. Baileys were highly concentrated in areas where these Baptist churches were.

You may also want to check out the history of Gibbstown, NJ right across from Philadelphia. This history may just have one more generation of your Gibbs lineage.
