Thomas Watkin w was b. 1860 in Newcastle Under Lyme, Eng.
came to the pottery area of Trenton abt. 1880. He had
a sister Hannah Watkin b. 1848 also in Newcastle whom I
believe came over at the same time. She married Anderson
Merchant and at one time was living in what is now Manhatten where their only child Maude Merchant was born
1n 1880/81. Am trying to find Hannah's marriage record
as well as the birth cert fo their dau. Maude.
