Henry & Thomas Haines
Posted by: Deni Pfaff (ID *****2326) Date: May 02, 2005 at 19:35:37

Seeking birth information regarding HENRY HAINES and THOMAS HAINES,
possibly sons of JEDEDIAH HAINES and CHARLOTTE GENTRY. Thomas was
reportedly born 01 Feb 1826 in Philadelphia, though the 1870 census
lists Delaware. There is also a connection of some kind to
western New Jersey. Both Henry and Thomas worked with steam engines
and boilers, usually on sea-/lake-going vessels.
Henry married Elizabeth Bickley and had children Mary Elizabeth,
Henrietta, Harriet, William Henry, Jessie, Ellen and Elizabeth.
(all b. Sandusky, OH)
Thomas married Emeline Fox Welsh and had children Jediah Philip,
Henry J., John Fox, Thomas Lincoln and George Washington.
(all b. Reading, PA)
We are interested in any information, clues or assistance in
determining the parentage of HENRY and THOMAS HAINES.
Thanks for any reply.
Wayne, OH.
