New Hanover Twp. likely would only appear on a county map and not a state map or atlas. A large portion of New Hanover Twp. is covered by both Fort Dix Army Base and McGuire AFB. In these townships there were smaller towns or villages. Some in New Hanover would be Lewistown, Pointville, and Cookstown. I know that Pointville is no longer in existence (since the early 1940s when the base expanded) I am not sure about the other areas. Wrightstown is one of the towns that was not engulfed by the military bases.
