I realize this is an old message but thought someone may still be searching this line.
This is what I have so far and hoping somebody can fill in some of the blanks.
My 4th great grandfather was Isaac Titsworth, b. bet.1741-1750 [unk. birthplace] Isaac was in Pendleton SC in 1790, 1800 and 1810 census. 1820, 1830, & 1840 census he was in jackson Co. Georgia.
His estate was probated in Nov.term of 1840 and his named heirs: Lewis & Patsy Paul Bennett, granchildren and children of dec'd daughter,Elizabeth, "my daughter, Nancy Barron" and son in law, Samuel Barron, husband of Nancy; grandson, Thomas NixNicks, son of daughter, Rebeccah, dec'd ; & "children of my daughter, Sally Barron, dec'd.." these grandchildren were: Amanda, Eliza, Isaac N., Thomas, Elizabeth , Marshal, William, Nancy and Calvin Barron.
His daughter, Rebeccah Titsworth md. \ Nix and Rebeccah predeceased her father, 1840, leaving the one son, Thomas.
I found Thomas Titsworth Nix, b. abt. 1822-25 in GA. in the 1860 Jackson Co. GA census md. to Lydia M. and children listed: Julie, Dilmus, Sarah, Thomas, Marietta and James Nix. I feel this has to be a son of Thomas and Rebeccah Titsworth Nix - named in the will of Isaac Titsworth in 1840 in Jackson Co. GA.
I have never found a burial place for Isaac Titsworth or is wife, who also predeceased him sometime after 1830 and before 1840. I feel they are both buried in Jackson Co. GA.
I would like to know more of Thomas Titsworth Nix and his descendants.
Thanks
