Hi Barbara, I'm trying to find the parents of James Nivison born about 1792. His wife is Lucy (I have Lawyer). Their children are Phoebe born about 1831, Samuel born about 1833, Hannah born about 1836, Rebecca born about 1839. They were all born in New Jersey and were living in Millstone, Monmouth, New Jersey in 1850. There is a Jane Nivison listed in the 1860 census as 5 1/2 months but she could be a granddaughter. They left New Jersey and went to Iowa between 1850 and 1855. In a post by Molly Bachman she said Eleanor Nivison who married James Taylor mentioned James and Lucy in her will. I think the year 1766 for James' birth is wrong. The census's show 1790 and 1793 and I believe this is the same James. I'm hoping you know who his parents are. Thank you. Teresa
