Norma,
I posted elsewhere within this group but just read this posting of yours! I am totally excited!!!! I can't believe you are "Sandy's" daughter. My father James J. Noble of London, Ont spoke of him - said he left the area and was lost track of - his generation thought he maybe went to Australia of all places!
Agnes (jr) was my fathers mother. She was also Agnes Reekie. I remember dad speaking of aunt Annie. If I remember correctly uncle Robert was a boxer for a time? The timing would be about right for the trip to Canada - My grandma came earlier about 1916 (when just 16 yrs old) and met/married my grandfather John Noble in London. They had 4 children, Agnes Carmen (Dolly)1922, James John (my father)1924, Robert Gilbert, and John Hector Alexander (Jack) (all but Jack are now deceased). My cousin Tanya Marshall (Dolly's daughter)has lots of info on the Nivens in Windsor ONt. I believe the grandparents moved there and with them Freddie Niven. There are many cousins there. Dad said there were other children (12 or 14 in all)born to Robert A & Agnes - that many in Scotland due to diptheria I think - I remember a Gilbert, and another Annie I think. Funny they used the names of deceased children when naming later ones.
Would love to chat further if you get this. I will have to pull my old info out of the closet. PS I have a photo of my dad circa 1941-45 in navy uniform with His grandma Agnes. I will send you a copy as I now have your email.
