Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

My grandfather, Martin Neiswender was born in PA in either 1831 or 1832. His parents were William Neiswender and Hannah Gauvey. The name Neiswender has been spelled many different ways. When he died in Ohio in 1911 it was spelled Niswonger. I am new at this, and I am still searching. I have not seen the name Porter in any info I have. Would like to have any info you are willing to share.
