From what I have pieced together with the help of a relative and an old family Bible, this would be my GGGGfather. I do not have any parents or siblings for him nor his birth/death dates. From the writing, he married Nomine Friedrichsen. They had my GGGmother Ingaborg Justina Nissen 21 MAR 1863 in Ockholm, Schleswig-Holstein, Preussen. Ingaborg married Johann Heinrich Christiansen and had 4 children: Carl, Grete, Inge, and my GGmother Nona/Nanni Christiansen (b 9 Apr 1892 Ockholm, Nordfriesland, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany). Family lore has it that she was sponsored by a Nissen relative in America to come here, and it is believed she may have 1st gone to Iowa. Any assistance in helping discover our roots and fill in some of the blanks would be appreciated!
