I am trying to research my birth father's family. His name was James Nissen b. 1931 in Iowa d. 1999 in Colorado.
He had 3 or 4 wives. His obituary says his father was Fred Nissen and his mother's name was Byrdin Bromley. He has a sister named Sue. I know he lived in Dike, Iowa around 1950 and his mother remarried after Fred died (heart attack abbt. 50 yrs old) and lived there until the mid 60s at least. I have very little to go on so any info would be greatly appreciated.
