Hello,

My ancestry also goes back to East and Midlothian, Scotland. However, I'm stumped at the moment and I hope someone on this forum may be able to help.

My ancestor David Nisbet and his wife emigrated to Canada (via???) sometime between 1832 and 1836 and started their family.
David - b. 1808, East Calder, Scotland, d.1864, Plympton, Ontario
m. Mary Louden (sp?) on March 19, 1831 in Kirknewton and East Calder, Midlothian
Mary - b. 1808, Bathgate, West Lothian
- I cannot find any information on Mary's family??

David's parents:
Alexander Nisbet - b.July 22, 1780, Kirknewton & East Calder, Midlothian, Scotland
d. 1850, Scotland
m. Mary Lawden/Lauden (sp?), 1804, Kirknewton & East Calder, Midlothian, Scotland
Mary - b. abt 1783, Kirknewton & East Calder, Midlothian, Scotland
- I cannot find any information on Mary's family??

Alexander's parents:
James Nisbet - b. abt 1750, Scotland
d. ??
m. Elizabeth Waddel/Waddell (sp?), June 28, 1767, Whitburn, West Lothian, Scotland
Elizabeth - b. abt 1750, Scotland
d. ??

Could anyone help fill in some of these blanks?

I also have Cairn roots in these areas...

Tonia Nisbet
