I have David Niles' Vermont payroll data from the Revolutionary War Roster; i.e., page 645
He was a scout under Major John Wheelock Sir, Capt. Abm Salsbury, etc. and went away 25 days on October AD 1777 at Pittsford, VT, receiving 6 days at 1 Dollar per day for a total of 1 pound 16 ounces.

I am not related.
