Elijah Wilson Niles' line is: Elijah W. [7] (James 6-5, John 4-3, Increase 2, John 1). Lt. James [5] Niles served in the Rev War from MA and afterwards lived at Willington, Tolland, CT, In 1800 son James [6], born 1 Sep 1772 Braintree MA, is living in 1800 at Cambridge, Washington Co., NY, in 1810 at Canandaigua, Ontario Co., NY, and in 1820 & 1830 at Naples, Allegany Co.,NY. He is probably the James who died in Sep 1859 at Alaiedon, Ingham Co., age 87, born "NY."

I have James' [6] son Elijah born 13 Oct 1802 most likely at Cambridge, Washington Co., NY, (where his father was in 1800) and dying 10 Feb 1890 at Connecticut Farms, Union Co. NJ, possibly while visiting his son Lewis' family in NJ. His mother Mary "Polly" Woodward, may have died giving birth to him. His father married next c1803 Lucy Beckwith.

Elijah is living in 1830 at Naples Ontario Co NY and in 1840 & 1850 at Scio, Allegany, Co., NY. Lydia is at Wellsville NY in 1860, as "Leida." In 1880 Lydia is listed as a widow living with daughter Marion (Niles)Coats'family at Wellsville. Elijah is next door alone and listed as a widower. In 1900 Lydia is living, age 88, a widow, with daughter Sarah A. (Niles)Burdick's family at Alfred.

If you find any stones at the Bellamy cemetery for Elijah or Lydia please post the info. Possibly they are not together but buried with a favorite son or daughter at various other cemetries.
