James L. Niles b. Nov. 22nd, 1826 Springwater,Livingston Co., NY. His wife was Emaline Marvin who was born in Springwater,NY. They were married March 10th, 1852. Three children:
1.Harry J. Niles
2.Jennie E. Niles
3.Edward Niles
His father was Henry J. Niles who settled in 1817.
