Who were your O'Donnell's and where were they from in Ireland. Parents of Mary, her sibblings, dob, who did they marry, immigration info. Did any come to either Boston area, CA, or midwest(where)?
My grandmother was Mary Ann O'Donnell dob July 28 1873 in Co Donegal, parents were James O'Donnell 1845, Susan Doherty 1845. They married July 1866 Sacred Heart Church in Carndonagh Co Donegal. Mary Ann immig and April 17 1902 in Boston(Dorchester)married Patrick Bradley 1864 Co Donegal son of Bernard Bradley and Mary McGeoghan(McGoggin?)
Mary Ann had several sibblings.
Patrick 1867, John 1868, Neal(neil)1871, Mary Ann 1873* Maggie 1875, Denis 1878 and Philip 1880
With exception of Patrick and Maggie the others all immigrated to Boston area(Salem, Malden, Peabody, Everett)
John F O'Donnell dec 1854 Co Cork was son of John O'Donnell and Elizabeth Carney, They were Cousin of my grandmothers family. John F married Bridget Doherty(Feb 1861) daughter of Neil Doherty(1838-1878 died in Boston) and Mary Coats(1838-1878 also died in Boston) Bridget had two sisters Ellen 1860, and Mary 1862.John F and Bridget immigrated to MA(Stoneham first, later Boston's No End and had 9 children) They had married Jan 1881, at Sacred Heart Church in Carndonagh Co Donegal.John F also had two older brothers Peter about 1838, and Patrick 1844.
I have a lot more information on these O'Donnell's and their extended families in MA.
Thank you
Barbara
