My grandmother, Sarah Nilan, immigrated to the US in 1908 at the age of 19. She was from Kinvarna, Galway County Ireland, where I have found reference to several Nilan family names. She married Frederick Kelleher and they lived in Stamford, CT. The only know relative of hers that I remember was a sister "Kate" Nilan, who married Thomas Daily.
