I called my granny (grandmother) and am bringing to you some information about my side of the Knoxville, Tenneessee Nighberts.

My list goes as far back as my Great, Great, Grandfather. Hugh Nighbert Lived to be 102 yrs. I do not know what year he passed away.

I am the daughter of Ronald Everette Nighbert (born in Knoxville 1951). Ronald E. Nighbert is the son of Harold Burce Nighbert (Died in the 1980's). Harold B. Nighbert is the son of General Sherman Nighbert. (No info B-D) G.S.Nighbert is the son of Hugh Nighbert (No info B-D).

I do have additional information about all of these men such as cousins, siblings, Wife and Children. If you would like some of this additional information please email me

There is a church in Knoxville, TN. that may be able to supply you with additional information. This church has approx. 20 grave sites in which Nighberts lay, dated back to the 1800's. This church was built in the 1800's.
