I am looking for information on Ludwig & his wife (birthdates, parentage, etc.) and on Carl & his wife (birthdates, parentage, etc.)
We do know that Carl was born in Norway and we presume he came to Canada alone, as his daughter (Marian) remembers as a little girl her father getting a letter from a brother that was coming by ship to stay with them. This brother never arrived, nor had they ever received word from him again. Marian hasn't had any contact with her father's brothers or parents in her lifetime.
