Aged Woman Fractures Hip at Moose Picnic-
-Mrs. Mathilda Nielson, 78, who resides at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Parquette, of 506 Eleventh avenue south, received a fracture of the hip in a peculiar accident last Sunday. She, with other members of the family, attended the Moose picnic at the Baldwin farm. She was seated on a folding chair, enjoying the festivities, when suddenly the chair collapsed and she was thrown to the ground.
Her injuries were so painful that it was necessary to administer a hypodermic before she could be moved. She was taken to the St. Charles City Hospital where she is now resting as comfortably as can be expected.
