Am researching the family of Niels/Nels Peter Nielson, originally from Denmark. The family was living in Omaha Nebraska in about 1884, later moved to Kearney Nebraska, then on to Canada about 1900.
He was married to Anna, had the following children Mary Dorothy born 1890, Lillian born in 1896, Catherine born 1891, Clara, Myrtle, John born 1899, and Hannah born 1884 or 1885 in Omaha Nebraska.
Niels had a sister that married a man by the last name of Pedersen, and they also moved to Canada.
