Hi,
I would't be surprised, but no I really don't recognize the names. Somewhere about 1850 (between John Nicks and my grandfather, my branch lost it's education, typical during the civil war, and not reading and writing spelled the name NIX. I haven't gotten into his siblings, etc. My fathers name was "cicero", and wouldn't be surprised if it's not a family name. I'm off on other things, but I'll keep your message and check my paperwork later.

Were all your people from MI (Michigan?) I don't know of any of our family there yet.
Sue
