Hi, Jim - My name is Rebecca Nicks. My husband is the great
grandson of Calvin Harrison Nicks, who married Eliza
Houzzy first, and Nancy Helton, second. One of his sons was
Adolphus Luther Nicks, who married Mamie Trinkaus, and they
were my husband's grandparents. I noticed you credited
Wanda Gregory with contributing to your family tree, and
it's funny, but Wanda is the very person who told me about
Calvin H. Nicks (along with Shirley Cato) The Calvin S.
you show as George Jr.'s son is correct, but George's son, Pleasant Nicks, had a son named Calvin Harrison Nicks, who married Nancy Sparks - at least Calvin & Nancy are shown on the death certificate for Adolphus Luther as being his parents. I have had the dickens of a time finding the
right Calvin - it is as if he and his descendents never
happened. If this information is incorrect, I would
appreciate it if you would let me know. Thanks
