I don't know much about the side of the family that doesn't have the Nicks surname or that which doesn't tie directly back to my immediate part of the Nicks line. What I mostly have to go on is a copy of what my grandparents gave me (I was the only one in my family that was interested in our geneology besides them) thirty years ago. I saved the stuff and have just recently begun filling in small, missing, pieces of information with the help of the internet. In regard to my great grandfather and great grandmother (Emmett Houston and Margaret Druzella), I have to admit I didn't know her maiden name, but "Margaret Druzella" was in fact her first and middle name. I remember her still. She died when I was about 10 years old (I'm about to turn 47). She lived her last years in Wenatchee, WA. She is buried, along with Emmett Houston (and all of my family that derived from them) in Ephrata, WA. This is where they settled after coming from Arkansas.
