This is part of my family tree. Samuel Nickless(1795-1876) Married Sarah Taylor in Motimer, Berkshire, England They had 5 sons. The youngest,Christopher, came to America in the 1850s and settled in Michigan near Okemos in 1855. His first wife was Eliza Foster, they had 5 children including my grandfather Fredrick. Eliza died young andhe remarried a widow names Mary Clements Burnison, they had 5 more including Ben, Fannie, twins Walter And william, and John the youngest. When John was a small boy in 1893, They moved to Gladwin County. Christopher died in 1901, leaving Mary with a large family to raise. Christopher is buried Birch Run. The age of this John may not match your John. I know of some other Nickless's In Indiana (I think no relation to the Michigan clan) I live in Miami, FL James K.
