I am almost positive that Sobieski Bond must have been a brother to Laura.
I have looked at the censuses very carefully & it clearly shows Israel Bond as her father. Her Mother is Anne Watson from Wake, NC.
There are 3 generations of Israel Bonds. Her father, a brother, and the brother, in urn, named his son Israel Houston Bond. It can be very confusing.
I will go back over the censuses again to see if he is a brother or possible nephew.
