Here's info I got from Susquehanna County tax assessment records - Bridgewater: no Nickersons 1814-1818
For 1822/23 Ethan & Hezekiah Nickerson as separate households. (Lists poor children in Bridgewater as Martheldia and Sindrilla Nickerson). 1822 Ethan and Hezekiah.1823,1824 Hezekiah and Sally Nickerson; apparently Sally was Ethan's wife but he had died.
1825 Hezekia and Jeduthan Nickerson. In 1824 Hezekiah's property worth $174 and Jeduthan's $40. These are combined to give $211 which probably means they were father and son. By 1830 Its Hezekiah, Lester, and Jeduthan. 1831 ,32 Hezekiah and Lester, 1833,34 Hezekiah only. No Nickersons 1835-1850. From 1830-1850 Jeduthan is in Town of Brooklyn, Susq. assessments - usually with 60 acres worth $200, 5 worth $200, 1 horse, 2 cows.
A 1922 compilation of Susq Co. Marriage and Death records shows 1. Anne, 2. Cinda Rilla married Orlando Wells in Bridgewater 10 Nov. 1834, 3.Henrietta of Forest Lake married 11 Feb 1841 Myron M. Mott of Bridgewater, 4.Julia A. m. 14 Sep 184? to Chester Wright both of Forest Lake, 5.Matilda m.28 May 1834 Rev. Alfred Peck, and 6.Malinda 12 July 1829 to Jesse Dean, Bridgewater. Ethan died age 25 on 22 Aug 1821, Sally (widow) m. 11 April 1824 Benjamin Russell, both of Bridgewater. Jeduthan m. 28 May 1826 to a Miss Smith dau of Issac Smith.
Previous e-mail correspondence I made on another website indicated Uzzie Nickerson had 3 male children in Franklin County, Ohio.
PS The Mormon Joseph Smith was listed in Harmony, Susquehanna Co. for 2 or 3 years in the early 1820's with a horse, cow and dwelling.
