While neither William Nickerson or Anne Busby or any of their immediate family sailed on the Mayflower, many of their descendants married into families who did.
As both a Nickerson descendant who is actively involved with the Nickerson Family Association in Chatham and a member of the board of the Massachusetts Society of Mayflower Descendants, I am always delighted to find the connections and to encourage Nickersons to join the Society (as well as the Nickerson Family Association, of course).
Thomas Rogers, Stephen Hopkins, William Brewster, Richard Warren, Myles Standish, John Alden are just some of the Mayflower passengers who are ancestors of those with Nickerson heritage.
