I am researching a Capt. Joseph Henry Sears (1829-1885) who married Emily Nickerson, supposedly the daughter of a Daniel Nickerson. Another online publication referred to her father as Daniel Nickerson of Boston. However, I am unable to make a connection with any Daniel that I can locate. Does anyone have further information on her? The information I found gives her birth date as 3/26/1834 and her death date as 3/10/1887. I did locate a Mass. death record for an Emily Nickerson Sears for this death date who died at the age of 52y 11m, but it gives her parents as David and Emily C Sears. I found that David and Emily did have a daughter named Emily born in 1836, but she died two years later in 1838. I do not find that David and Emily had a second daughter named Emily.
If anyone can offer any further information it would be appreciated. Thanks.
