I am trying to find Ida Mae or May Nickerson's parents. There are two on the census but the one in Swanville whose parents are Eleazer is still living with her parents in the 1880 census. Mine was married to John Durham Shorey by then. Would love to find out more. My father said her parents were Eleazer and Hannah J Piper of Belfast, Waldo, Maine. She is my 2nd great grandmother. I have that she was born in 1856 in Belfast.
