I have traced my ancestors back to Ansell Nickerson of Chatham, MA. He was born about 1750 to Ansel Nickerson and Bathsheba Small. The article "Piracy on the High Seas - The Mysterious, Inexplicable Affair of Ansell Nickerson" by D. Brenton Simons published by the NEHGS (http://www.newenglandancestors.org/education/articles/NEA/6-1%20007%20Piracy.asp?print=1) lists as a source the book by Pauline W Derick "The Nickerson Family: The Descendants of William Nickerson...". I would like to know what information this book has on Ansell and his ancestors. The citation in the above article references pages 336-337.
