Hi Barbara,
I am posting this for others to see that may be looking for this family as well. Indeed this is the family I am seeking! I have a book, 'Seabeck, Tide's Out. Table Set. by Fredi Perry, 1993 that states on page 67, that Samuel b. 22 July 1840, He had a brother Edward A. NIckels b. 1838 Maine, who came with him to Seabeck WA by 1870.

So indeed these are the sons of Alexander. Thank you for posting this information.
